Westfalia is an italian alternative rock band with indie pop and Psychedelic influences. Their show is characterized by a dark, hypnotic sound that tightly combines eccentric rhythms and sophisticated yet essential melodic patterns whereas keyboards as synths replace the role of the guitar. Their strong live presence and the originality of their style, initially closer to Pop/RnB, aroused a lot of interest in the Italian music scene, leading them to perform at X-Factor Italy in 2021. The following period saw them active mainly abroad on some of the most renowned European stages, such as The Great Escape Festival in Brighton, FZW in Dortmund, Band on the Wall in Manchester, Saint Luke's in Glasgow, Zerox in Newcastle, Locomotiv Club in Bologna. Through 2022 they released three singles, Goblin, My new mouse and Sunset Kids, the last one as an anticipation of the Ep We Are Not Just Good At Playing. In 2024 they independently released The Monster, Alligators, Little Prince and Berluschoney, the four singles taken from their new upcoming album Odds and ends, which is scheduled to be released on Nov 8th and which cuts ties with the past by definitively inserting them into the world of Alternative Rock. Their debut album release will be followed by a European tour starting from November 2024.
